101 Ways to Build Link Popularity – Good Read To Start Backlink Building
I remember I bookmarked a post about building backlinks years ago when things still slow and simple. It’s a good read and I’d like to share with you to give you broader picture on many methods to build backlinks. OK, I found my archived bookmark just now and you can find the link I put at the bottom of this post. The post title is “101 Ways to Build Link Popularity” by Aaron Wall and Andy Hagans. The list compiled in 2006 but as you can see, a good article like this can be a reference and get spiral all over the place in Internet. On the list you can’t find any automated backlinks method similar like Automatic Backlink Creator as back then in 2006, things still slow and simple. You could do backlinking manually and slowly, like asking for reciprocal link with other website owner, exchange links with other relevant sites within your niche, guest blogging, etc.
The list is comprehensive though, as it contains one hundred and one methods. Some of them you’ve heard and familiar with, some of them might be new to you. So, read all of them and get inspired.
My favorite method from the list is #14 in News & Syndication section.
14. Trade articles with other webmasters. It was not my favorite a long time ago, but for now it’s my favorite method to build backlinks. Since I found and use Automatic Backlink Creator plugin on my WordPress site, that method can be done fully automatic. Well, you still need an article though.
I would treat trading articles with other webmasters is like doing a guest blogging. And it’s not a trivial job for webmasters. First, you have to research the topics you want to post on other website and that topic must be related to your target keyword and at the same time in one theme with other website you plan to publish your article. After research done, you start writing an article that follow certain standards by other webmaster, like how many words acceptable for them, article structure, link format, to name a few.
You submit your article and waiting his approval. Your article may receive prompt attention to review and approve but most of the time, they are busy as you and your article is sitting in draft pending approval.
By the time your article approved and go live on host website, then you have a backlink, or maybe two, pointing back to your website. Two backlinks is a consensus to have them from article posted on host website, since more than two or three can be look as spam.
Automatic Backlink Creator network consists of 6000 websites -at the time I post this article- and you are allowed to post to all those websites within network, as long as your target keywords are inline with them. And you are allowed to put up to four backlinks on single article, even though I suggest to only put two backlinks.
You can spin single article and submit it to database and the network will spin your article, look which category your article must be posted and it will start posting your article to many websites.
Now, immediately you can imagine the unfair advantage you have by submitting one article and start receiving link juice from many websites that hosted on various server, across many IPs and countries all over the world.
OK, enough on my part about guest blogging, I’ll post an article about guest blogging in more details later. For now, go head to http://www.seobook.com/archives/001792.shtml and start building backlinks, either manual or auto pilot by using Automatic Backlink Creator plugin.
